About: Jill has more than 16 years of accounting and finance industry experience. Prior to joining SWMG, she served as a Revenue Agent at the Internal Revenue Service in the Large Business & International Division. Before that, she was a Tax Manager for Plante & Moran, where she specialized in working with High Net Worth portfolios in the trust and estate tax areas, and was a founding member of the firm's women's initiative. Finally, she worked early in her career at SWMG as a Registered Sales Assistant.
Jill earned and maintains her Michigan CPA license, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She also holds her Series 7 and 66 licenses, as well as the title of Investment Management Consultant through Raymond James’ Institute of Investment Management Consulting. She is currently studying to take the CFP exam.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Michigan-Flint, and bachelor’s degree in Scientific and Technical Communications from Michigan Technological University, graduating with honors from both universities.
Originally from Frankenmuth, Michigan she now lives in Flint with her husband, son, and daughter. She serves as Chapter Head of The W Source™ in Genesee County, MI.

She strives to continually find new ways to exceed client’s expectations through her depth of knowledge in taxes, estate planning, and personal finance. Supporting her clients to increase their own financial literacy and understanding of wealth management is fundamental to Jill’s consulting approach. Jill is committed to bringing financial literacy to those who need it most. She is especially interested in working Gen X & Y professionals.
