INTRODUCTION
Tabitha opened the second branch of State Farm Insurance in Torrance, California, in 2019. Her business acumen has sustained business despite the pandemic, and Tabitha believes growth is coming and looks forward to new agencies stemming from the mentoring she does with her employees.

Tabitha was making good money in a good position as a Finance Director but found she had no personal time. Disappearing weekends and holidays took a physical and mental toll. Once she decided to join her husband at State Farm, the doors flew open, and things fell into place to do work she loves. She enjoys the long-term relationship she builds with clients, where interaction is not one transaction, but ongoing.

Tabitha’s leadership style involves the inclusion of her employees, giving access to information and growth opportunities; an approach that is not universal in her industry. She prefers to see them as aspirants, not co-workers, and values team collaboration over top-down decisions. These core values and others continue the tradition of building a deep foundation of doing things the right way. It brings vitality to work relationships and is a blessing for Tabitha as well.
