About: Rea Mayer is Associate Vice President - Financial Advisor with the Specialized Strategies Group at RBC Wealth Management. Rea joined RBC in 2013 as administrative complex manager for the Southern California Complex where she played a pivotal role in recruiting and onboarding financial advisor teams from competing firms. Immediately prior to joining RBC, she was associate director, complex administrative manager at UBS. Rea started her wealth management career in 2006 as a client service associate and paraplanner with Ameriprise Financial. She was also a registered associate at Smith Barney and UBS. Rea has a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering and a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from UCLA. She is also a Chartered Retirement Plan Specialist, CRPS®.
Rea resides in Chandler, Arizona, with her husband, daughter, and twin sons. She is the 2018 Director of East Valley Women, serves on the Board of Directors for the Planned Giving Round Table of Arizona, and is a member of the Central Arizona Estate Planning Council. Rea is committed to supporting her local community and is involved with the Desert Botanical Garden, Arizona Foundation for Women, and Girl Scouts.
