About: Jennifer Flaks is the founder of Flaks Studio. Her background is pretty unique. She was a theatre major turned investment banker turned graphic designer and ultimately agency owner. That mix of creative and analytical thinking is her superpower, which eventually became the secret sauce of Flaks Studio, where she helps her clients translate highly technical or academic concepts and content into visuals that are both inventive and practical.
Jennifer is a lifelong learner, and her boundless curiosity has led her to diverse worlds, from art to sports to finance. In fact, her interest in sports resulted in work for brands like the National Football League. She's equally fervent about philanthropy and has steered design efforts for several nonprofits, especially those focused on youth empowerment and women’s advocacy. Jennifer is a community leader with AIGA, the largest design association in the country.
