About: Melanie has been a financial advisor for over 16 years. Because of her passion to help professional women succeed, not only in financial services, but in all industries, she launched the Newtown Square, PA chapter of the W Source. Additionally, she is a member of Women in Financial Services and Women Working for Women. She holds her Series 7 and series 66 securities registrations. She is married with 2 children and resides in Havertown, PA. She enjoys beach volleyball, indoor volleyball, coaching, hiking, and playing games with her family. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Drexel University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. She was named an NCAA Division I First Team Academic All-American in volleyball. She went on to coach collegiate volleyball for 10 years, before changing to her career in finance.

About: Emily is a Philadelphia area native, having graduated from Sun Valley High School in Aston, PA and completing her undergraduate studies at Ursinus College. With a passion for health & patient care, Emily completed her Nursing degree at Drexel University and was accepted into their prestigious Accelerated Career Entry (ACE) program. Upon receiving her RN, BSN, Emily began her career as a registered nurse in the Jefferson Health and Penn Medicine systems. When her beloved grandmother, Grams, began suffering with Alzheimers, Emily saw first hand how caregiver families struggle to find suitable home care for their loved ones. Emily was determined to make this process easier for families. With her husband and 2 family friends, they opened the Main Line/Philadelphia franchise of 2nd Family Home Care, a Maryland based senior care agency. Emily finds helping families during stressful times, when their loved ones are ill or suffer a medical emergency, so rewarding. Being able to use her nursing background and her personal experience with Grams to give families peace of mind is the best part of working with the elderly and families.
