Lauren also has experience in handling a wide range of civil litigation matters including business litigation, real estate litigation, and employment litigation, encompassing such diverse matters as business torts and breach of contract claims, wrongful termination and employment claims, trade secret disputes and privacy claims, telecommunications and media law issues, and taxation disputes with the Internal Revenue Service.
Lauren has represented a broad spectrum of clients, including small and large businesses and financial institutions, high net-worth individuals, non-profit organizations, television and print media, telecommunications and internet companies, and landowners.
Prior to joining Reicker, Pfau, Pyle & McRoy LLP, Lauren practiced with the law firms of Price, Postel and Parma, LLP in Santa Barbara, and Bingham McCutchen LLP in Washington, D.C. and Los Angeles.
Lauren received a B.S. in Advertising and a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Florida in 2006, and received her J.D. from the George Washington University Law School in 2009.
Lauren was admitted to the California Bar in 2012, prior to which she was also admitted to practice in Virginia, the District of Columbia, before the United States Tax Court, and the United States Court of Federal Claims.
Lauren is an active member of the Santa Barbara Community. She is the former President of the Santa Barbara Barristers and a member of the Santa Barbara County Bar Association.
