About: A Midwest transplant - Carly Schroeder found her roots in the great outdoors very early in life an it has transferred into her every day life in Arizona. Originally heading to college on volleyball dreams - things quickly shifted and goals were prioritized. She headed to Hollywood to attend FIDM in downtown LA and balanced full time work and classes at USC/UCLA to increase productivity. In 2008 she graduated and moved back to Arizona with a job at an architecture firm - only to be released two weeks later. She enrolled at ASU to start a Masters program and worked in fine dining and industrial military contract design to survive the recession. Long chats at the bar lead to a landscape design opportunity and the rest is history. Exploring and learning in some of the valleys top firms - she eventually learned that being on her own was best and hasn't looked back since. It's been 16 years in the industry and 3.5 years as an independent landscape designer. Thankful and honored to be in this position today.
