About: Kim Jones, Founder of Kim Jones Alliance, is an ICF ACC certified career coach and expert in guiding women to reach their highest professional potential. She works with individuals and companies committed to fostering the advancement and wellbeing of women in the workplace.
As a former unfulfilled IT executive, Kim knows firsthand the barriers women face to building careers that align with the impact they want to make in the world. After leaving her job to pursue more meaningful work, Kim now coaches women whose stories she deeply relates to – women who have significantly invested in their careers but now want something more. Women who are navigating the challenges of being underrepresented in male dominated industries. This is now Kim’s life’s work, and she is deeply honored to serve her clients in forging their own journeys to making their careers their own.
Prior to launching her coaching business, Kim held executive-level positions for several Fortune 250 companies in various senior roles, most recently serving as divisional CIO for Farmers Insurance Company. In this position, she led teams of over 1000 people in the development and implementation of the company’s technology vision and strategy. In previous roles, Kim led operations for both large companies and start-ups.
In addition to career coaching, Kim is a keynote speaker on topics including networking, leadership development, culture transformation, and career transition, and mentors high-potential IT to achieve next-level leadership.
Kim holds an MA in anthropology, MBA, and BA in psychology from California State University, Northridge.
