About: Fluent in both Spanish and English, Tina’s versatility is reflected in the significant successes that she has achieved in a wide variety of legal fields, including national and international business transactions, and business litigation, real estate litigation and commercial litigation.
Despite a variety of practice areas, in her 32 year career Tina has consistently represented clients with real estate holdings on a national level and has assisted them in reducing their claims, not only by providing risk management advice, but also by drafting their service/lease agreements in such a way as to reduce their exposure. When she was representing owners of commercial shopping centers and other commercial complexes, she led training sessions and seminars for managers, janitorial companies and security companies on issues of maintenance and safety.
In the last 20 years, Tina has focused her practice on serving as outside general counsel for a wide array of business clients, ranging from sole proprietorships, corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships and has represented them at both state and federal trial and appellate court levels, and in alternative dispute resolution forums.
In addition to her trial and advocacy practice, she advises those clients in a variety of transactional matters and business deals, including business entity formation, corporate compliance, contract negotiations, acquisition or sale of business or commercial real estate; joint ventures and strategic alliances; licensing and distribution of products; and providing assistance with business operating problems (contract disputes; contract preparation and negotiation; lease negotiation; risk management analysis; and dissolution); sale or purchase of business assets; sale or purchase of business entities.
Tina M. Alleguez has been selected to both the National Register’s Who’s Who in Executives and Professionals, as well as Southern California’s Super Lawyers in 2006 and from 2016 through the present. She served for several years on the Board of Directors of the Hispanic Business Network, a non-profit organization devoted to helping and educating Latino business owners primarily in the San Fernando Valley. From 2014 through June 2021 she served on the Board of Directors of Multicultural Learning Center, a dual immersion (Spanish/English) charter school, K-8th grade where she served as its President from 2018 through June 2021.
